The song "Echod Mi Yodeya" traditionally sung at the Pesach Seder goes up to number 13. Why does this song not go higher or lower than 13?

  • The word Echod - אֶחָד - also = 13 Commented Oct 7, 2015 at 19:06
  • Again, just conjecture here; but, "Keneged the 13 Middot" works pretty well with the last stanza and with the theme of Pesahh (HaShem redeeming us from Egypt).
