I believe it isn’t permissible to eat meat before Maariv, but would it be permitted to drink drinks with caffeine (such as coffee, or coke) beforehand? Especially if it will help to concentrate? I believe it is generally discourages to drink caffeine before shacharit, does the same Halacha apply to maariv?
