I know that Jerusalem is where the sacrifices are to be held. So when I read [this verse](http://www.chabad.org/library/bible_cdo/aid/9881#v=21) I was intrigued. > An altar of earth you shall make for Me, and you shall slaughter beside it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. Wherever I allow My name to be mentioned, I will come to you and bless you. So I am curious as to what was meant here; "[w]herever I allow My name to be mentioned" sounds like sacrifices may be offered anywhere. Is this command somehow related to the Tabernacle offering and sacrifice system? Or is this something altogether different? If so, What is it related to?
