In the Haftorah (I cant remember where it is ) when Eliyahu is on Har HaCarmel and he is waiting for the priests of Baal, he watches them as they pray to their God to rain fire upon thier sacrifice. When none is forthcoming, Eliyahu tells them to pray louder and more, perhaps he is sleeping at the moment. I have always been under the impression that Eliyahu was poking fun at them rather then suggesting a real option. So perhaps Eliyahu we see at least had a sense of humor. (Although I'l wager that the priests of Baal didnt find it half as funny!!!)
