I have some difficulty understanding the math for buying a Hebrew slave, sold for a steal:
For a slave that is single: following this question is a slave price assessed per year or full term (6 years)? For example, he stole $1000 and his price is $100 a year. Rambam (there) says "היה מחירו 50" - is it for per year or per 6 years?
For a married with children slave - is the family provision deducted from his price? On which base? How it is calculated?
(I skimmed thru Rambam's Hilchot Avadim but couldn't get a clear idea)
