The Jewish Study Bible says that RaDaQ has a long polemic against the Christian reading at the end of his commentary on Psalm 45. I am particularly interested in what he says on the first sentence in verse 7:

כִּסְאֲךָ אֱלֹקים עוֹלָם וָעֶד שֵׁבֶט מִישֹׁר שֵׁבֶט

I could not find his refutation in the text of his commentary at Sefaria.com.

What is RaDaQ's refutation? (See 'Source Radak Psalm 110' in this forum for a similar query.)

It's not there because you linked to a censored edition. The long polemic is here – b a Dec 3 at 10:51

  • רבות מחשבות - I will rephrase the question so that it is like the one on Psalm 110 in the link sent by b a. Please then reconsider your vote. – Clifford Durousseau Dec 4 at 6:51
  • b a -- Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. You need not be as detailed as you were on the Psalm 110 question, except for the first sentence of verse 7. – Clifford Durousseau Dec 9 at 15:05
  • Here is a critically edited edition of Radak’s commentary on that chapter. – Oliver Dec 9 at 17:29
