Presumably it depends on whether she is still enjoying the newness of it? – user15253 May 17 '18 at 19:51
  • @Orangesandlemons - So if he gave it for her for Pesach, and she wore it on Pesach for the first time, and put it away, and then wore it again on Shvuos, and she is still enjoying the newness of it, he would be yotze the mitzvah twice, with the same peice of jewelry without giving her anything for shavuos? – RibbisRabbiAndMore May 17 '18 at 20:08
