If a mezzuzah fell and a non Jewish employee put it back up

Theoretically is there an obligation to take it down and put it up by a Jew? (With a bracha?)

Or is it kosher the way it is?

  • dinonline here says it has to be replaced with a bracha (therefore by a Jew) - that assumes it needed a bracha in the first place – mbloch Oct 13 '17 at 13:59
  • @mbloch it is not regarding if a non jew put it up already – hazoriz Oct 15 '17 at 0:11
  • a couple of questions. Did the ink or the scroll get damaged. Does anybody live at the place of business, like sleep there overnight, I mean a jew of course. The answer to these questions may help to answer your original question properly. – gamliela Oct 16 '17 at 11:24
