A woman does not want to be halachically married because she does not want to be trapped if her boyfriend becomes recalcitrant.

If she lives with him, he might be able to say that they entered into a marriage through biyah and she would be trapped.

Could, before they begin their relationship, write an anti-shtar that declares that they are not getting married and any actions to effect a marriage are nullified without an other special document.

Would this be effective?

  • Isn't it simpler and halachically compliant to get married with a halachic prenup?

How is this relationship allowed halachically if they are not married?

  • @mbloch all such prenups are halachicly controversial and anyway wouldn't be guaranteed to work if the guy is a billionaire
