Are orthodox Jews allowed to have a garden gnomes in their yards? On the one hand, gnomes are fully 3d, but they don't represent any cogent idolatrous practices.

  • Do that have a nose and two eyes? At they made out of stone, metal, or wood? If so it falls under the prohibition of myr to make a graven image, from the ten commandments (see commentaries there) – John Goshen Apr 7 at 20:57
