In his sefer Kedushat Hayom, Rabbi Shmuel Tuvia Stern alleges that Rabbi Elchanan Vasserman made the following pictured svara. Is anyone able to locate it in the [R Vasserman’s] original?

This is a classic modern discussion with Chabad Messianists. Rashi on that Gemara already shows pshat is not like the "proof" he's trying to bring. We discussed this at judaism.stackexchange.com/q/16733/759 – Double AA Dec 3 '19 at 23:54
  • Wait are you asking where R Elchanan wrote this originally or where the idea he is citing comes from? – Double AA Dec 4 '19 at 0:04

Na I have no interest in disproving more Messianists. Go read there if you want. – Double AA Dec 4 '19 at 0:06

@Eliyahu770 I couldn't resist. As it stands everyone, including myself, will assume this is simply messianic propaganda. Most people that frequent this site will have little to no interest in spending time looking for this 'source' and analyzing what he really may have said or meant, if anything at all. If you can cite the name of the work and the author, give a reason why you think this is credible, people might be more interested. – user6591 Dec 4 '19 at 0:16

Seems like Kovetz Shiurim vol. 2 Siman 29 (Also Kovetz Maamarim vol. 1 page 49).

It's not Kovetz Shiurim vol. 2 Siman 29 (I actually thought about that letter earlier and checked it, but no). I don't have the second source on me to check, could you quote/summarize? – b a Dec 4 '19 at 12:15
  • Ok, it's the same maamar printed in both places – MDjava Dec 4 '19 at 22:07
