Jun 13, 2016 at 6:04 comment added Epicentre I do know the similarity between Akdamut, Kiddush Hagim and Reshuyot Hatanim, but have never heard of a logical link. Perhaps it's just that it fits (more or less).

Jun 10, 2016 at 16:24 comment added Salmononius2 To the best of my knowledge, there is no "official tune" for Kiddush. Also, the tune that I use for Akdamus is (I think) quite different than any Kiddush I've heard.
