Islam arose during the gaonic period (after the close of the Talmud) which is a different matter. The Jews of Arabia and the Arabs during the time of the gemoro would be a different question and one that I do not deal with. There is, for example, a site thejc.com/judaism/judaism-book-extracts/115805/… which talks about the influence during the time of the geonim, but again that is a different question. | |
