I am reading a book called The Joy of Educating ChildrenThe Joy of Educating Children. It is taken from writings of R' Hirsch. So far, it is what it claims to be - A practical guide for Jewish parents. I haven't finished it, and even when I have I won't be able to tell you if it worked or not for a few decades, but so far I'd recommend it.
