If a woman wants her children to be universally accepted as Jews, she must convert Orthodox, period. In addition, it is highly preferable that she do the conversion through one of the rabbis (from a list) whose conversions are officially accepted in Israel.

Jun 19, 2013 at 22:39 comment added user2800 I suppose the question really being asked is if one converts under the non-orthodox, he/she has the best of both worlds. They can then marry Jew (non-orthodox) or Gentile.
