Sep 6, 2021 at 21:11 comment added torahmike Even without the explanation from R' Danzig, the word מצויה means 'commonly found' not 'found.' E.g. the Gemora in Sukkah says a sukkah that can't stand a מצויה wind is not-kosher vs. a non-מצויה wind which is not a concern(according to one opinion). So the Midrash isn't completely excluding those people , just saying it's less likely.

My Rabbi explained, of course it doesn't mean anyone who engages in business won't have Torah. The source says תגרים, this is someone whose identity is a תגר. A person can involve himself in business, but he can't let that become how he identifies as a person.
