E.g. the Gemora in Sukkah says a sukkah that can't stand a מצויה wind is not-kosher vs. a non-מצויה wind which is not a concern(according to one opinion). So the Midrash isn't completely excluding those people , just saying it's less likely. | |

My Rabbi explained, of course it doesn't mean anyone who engages in business won't have Torah. The source says תגרים, this is someone whose identity is a תגר. A person can involve himself in business, but he can't let that become how he identifies as a person. | |
