To focus the question: would blending such fruits be considered "mevatel issur le-chatchillah," which is not permitted.

Good question; at this point it's a halacha question, given that I don't (yet) know which governs this issue

comment Going into a Reform synagogue to take a test
That question is specifically not about prayer or weddings, but about non-religious functions. I would see tests as perfectly fitting that original question.

comment Best practices for well-circulating Hoshanot
My comment was a bit fatalistic, so I didn't post as an answer. In my experience nothing ad hoc has worked, and in my informal estimation the only way it would work is with actual enforced patterns, something that I have never seen and that would probably meet with resistance in many places.

Traffic cops. Otherwise some people will cut in and out to make sure they get around, and others will take the path of least obvious resistance instead of maximizing use of available space, and things jam up (see also hakafos). If this had an answer we'd be able to eliminate regular traffic jams too. #humannature #fail

comment What is the most successful way to do conversion for a Gentile girl in a relationship with a Jew?
It's my impression that the population of rabbis who deal with conversion is divided when it comes to the conversion of someone romantically involved with a Jew. I think the idea in North America is that commitment to Judaism is the most important thing about conversion, and the relationship casts a lot of doubt on the candidate's sincerity. In Israel the concerns about national integrity are stronger, so there may be a more willing attitude. Perhaps in areas with less distinction between ortho and heterodox groups also.

comment Do permanently unmarried women need to go to the mikvah?
This may speak more to my ignorance than any deficiency in the question, but can you add the specifics of any other reason that a woman might have to go to the mikveh besides the marital one?

comment Responding to “that's not a Jewish name”
Heh, I'm a ger with a Germanic last name, so I have the inverse situation. If I were a McDowell or something (actually I'm Mackenzie and Helsher on my mother's side) I would probably devolve to something like "I bet Goldberg wouldn't have sounded particularly Jewish to Moshe Rabbeinu," but I guess that's a bit aggressive
