Paying bill for aveirah already done @Shemmy it's a good question, but assume for here that the seller is a Jew. |

Goshen, the most immoral part of Mitzrayim Is it definite that "oso makom" refers to Goshen, as opposed to Egypt in general? |

Would a baalat teshuva need a get from each previous sexual relationship? Agreed. I assumed that we are talking about no-daat-kiddushin unions here. |

Would a baalat teshuva need a get from each previous sexual relationship? ... but the safek would IIUC be whether this sort of relationship takes effect; so the bottom line is still either the first took effect, or none. So need a get from the first. |

Does Judaism consider virginity to be a virtue? Not a virtue per se. I would be more inclined to say that Judaism treats promiscuity as a vice. Priests have a higher degree of consecration, which may explain the prescription that the Kohen Gadol marry a virgin; not necessarily that it is a /virtue/. |

All you need is love? What about "And Jacob loved Rachel?" The professor apparently has a psycho-philosophical difficulty with the verse (and is not alone), but it doesn't strike me as being a compelling argument that the verb doesn't mean "love." |

Mitzvah of living in Eretz Yisrael The work as a whole may not be one of halachah, but he uses halachic arguments therein. How is this "not showing research effort, unclear, or un-useful?" |

If someone has BO and can't smell themselves, may they say blessings? Is BO a bad odor WRT Torah? It's my impression that it's decay, not sweat, that is the issue. Also, for what it's worth everyone smelled strongly in earlier times. |
