comment The return for Beis Sheini (or lack thereof)
I'm pretty sure that the mitzvah of going to Yerushalayim for the shalosh regalim only applies to residents of Eretz Yisroel.

comment Reconciling the evidence for the Uncertainty Principle with belief in an omniscient G-d
@jake The fact about the Aron is, as far as I can tell, a logical impossibility. It took up space, and, at the same time, it did not take up space. That is illogical. This is how the Lubavitcher Rebbe (in the above letter) learns it as well.

@jake, Many do think that limiting G-d to logic would mean He is not infinite. I'm getting closer to an finding a primary source. Here is a letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe who says that "גדולי הראשונים" held that G-d is not limited even to logic. The Rebbe brings a Rashba (which is incredibly long and I don't know if I'll be able to get through it), and a Tzemach Tzedek, which I'm looking for.

Without a source this answer is not very useful.

comment “They answered Hashem is one.” Where was that?
Perhaps you should add translations for those who need them.

@jake The central theme of those links is that limiting G-d to logic essentially means G-d is not infinite or omnipotent. I'm still working (admittedly not very actively) on finding primary sources, though. My main purpose in pointing out those links was to assure you that I have backing for my assertion.

comment Does artificial meat grown in a petri dish have the halachic status of meat?
@avi unfortunately, the gemara only seems to talk about whether they are kosher or require shechita and/or nikkur. I can't find anything regarding whether they were halachically meat or not.

fascinating! I was aware that this was (biblically) allowed, but I was unaware that it had ever been done. Source?

I'm curious if this is at all comparable to case in the gemara sanhedrin where R' Yochanan and Resh Lakish would create cows through kabbalah. Also, there's another gemara in sanhedrin where meat fell from heaven. Are those halachically meat?

comment Asking From Angels Borchuni Lshalom
I don't think this is an issue at all. Can only G-d give blessings? Tzaddikim give blessings, kohanim give blessings, and stam Yiddin give blessings too. I doubt the Rambam is referring to blessings at all.
