comment sheidim, servant of satan, death on sight, duck feet?
I know, that's not my question. My question is on #2 which is hard to understand. Also, a source for any/all of your points would be nice.

comment Aishes Chayil double talk
If me is who, and who is he, and he is she, does that mean that I am she? Ok sorry for the corniness, but I think you should find a better transliteration than "he".

comment What's the source for a Cheirem al pi Kabbalah?
Unfortunately, this is itself a translation of one of the Rebbe footnotes. I can't seem to find where the editor found this material.

comment What's the source for a Cheirem al pi Kabbalah?
In addition, the methodology the Rebbe describes seems a lot more complex, especially in that it requires 72 rabbonim to participate.

Pulsa d'nura seems to be some sort of tortuous punishment that ends in death. The Rebbe describes a relatively modest punishment that severs the soul's heavenly bond and ends in conversion.

comment What is the machlokes between the Gra and Ba'al HaTanya?
After rereading your answer, I see that your error stems from a mistranslation of the word "tzimtzum". Whereas you translate it as "manifestation", it actually means "withdrawal". Other than that you've got the gist. The Baal HaTanya believes that the "tzimtzum" or "withdrawal" that is discussed in kabbalah, is only metaphorical ("aino k'pshuto").

@shalom, Alex is correct. The Baal HaTanya follows "tztimtzum aino k'pshuto". The Gra follows "tzimtzum k'pshuto".

I don't think the description given by the Lubavitcher Rebbe fits this pulsa d'nura.

+1 This answer could use better explanation and formatting, though.
