comment The spies mentioning Amalek
To add to your point, Amalek was not one of the nations that the Bnei Yisrael were told they must attack to conquer their land, unlike the Emori and Chiti.

comment Should the Chazan bow when reciting Kaddish (even before “Oseh Shalom…”)? If so, when?
@DoubleAA I found the answer to my question. There is a machlokess Shulchan Aruch 56:4 and Gra there if one should bow at Yisbarach, Yehei Shmei Raba, Yishtabach, Brich Hu, and Amein. I would add this as an answer if the question wasn't closed.

comment When have I started Shemoneh Esrei?
See Brachos 4b - Rebbi Yochanan and Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi. I believe we hold that לכתחילה you should be סומך in מעריב as well, but to a lesser extent - and therefore if you are late you can skip to daven שמונה עשרה with the ציבור. (I think I heard this on an online dafyomi shiur.)

comment Can you redeem ma'aser sheni using a $5 bill — even though burning it will enrich your countrymen?
@BackseatChazan Nope. See the wikipedia article referenced in the article: "However, according to the quantity theory of money, because it reduces the supply of money it increases the value of the remaining money, increasing (by roughly the same amount as the money burnt) the collective wealth of everyone else who holds money." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burning_money

comment Is there anything like a “Tikun Korim” for Nach?
@BackseatChazan I'd like to one wait know how to memorize the laining the whole of Tanach, as was done in days of yore. Not for any communal reason but for my personal talmud torah.

comment Missing words in parshas zachor or parshas parah
A parasha sheet I picked up at shul writes the following: "השומע פרשת זכור וחיסר כמה תיבות, כל ששמע עיקר ענין זכירת מעשה עמלק יצא ידי חובתו (הליכות שלמה)" If I had a copy of הליכות שלמה and could look it up in the primary source I would make this an answer.

@DoubleAA Well, to clarify then I want to know if and where - meaning when saying which words, which is "when". Feel free to edit my question to make it clearer. Not sure how to improve on "At the beginning of Kaddish should he bow as well? And if so, when?"

I was looking for what Danno answered. Is there a source that says that we should do that?

@DoubleAA I'm not asking, why, but where. All those answers go into why, appropriately. I don't even know what the source is to bow anytime before "Oseh Shalom"

@GershonGold I actually saw that question and was wondering which bowings were being referred to there. I understood it was "Oseh Shalom..." - although I guess that's only 3 bowings? (I will edit my question to make it clearer). I was thinking about Danno's bowings - is there a source for that?
