comment Why Many of Saul's Descendants got Killed?
Usually when a king died, his sons still have some power, being princes and all. Ishboshet is actually a king, himself, for example.

Ishboshet, Saul's descendants were still alive. Ah killing the kohanim... That make sense. Saul did have tons of enemies.

comment Why does David say that he only sinned against G-d?
"As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this deserves to die! He must pay for that lamb four times over, because he did such a thing and had no pity." I would have done that if I were David, but then you can't be quite about it.

Ah I see.... But even then, where in the Torah does it say that marriage is only between 2 people? Say you want to cut marginal ceremonial cost and put things up in sort of one package? Currently, marriage is defined by congress to be civil union between 2 people so women can only pick single rather than best sellers. That's why I said the single men made that up.

Marriage in Judaism is also between 2 people? I am very surprised. I thought the single males made that up in and only in modern day democratic Europe thousands of years after Torah is written. So what about Abraham, Solomon, David, Moses, and pretty much everyone else that can afford and attract more than one babes? Where in the Torah/Bible there is any saying that marriage must be between 2 people? I think I asked this somewhere else before.

My answer is indeed based on Judaism. I saw the issue once in this site. Batsheba is divorced at the time of the "action". Simple sex outside marriage is not a sin in Judaism. Am I wrong here?

There is no mention in the bible that Saul is killing Giv'onim (gibeonites). Also gibeonite is a small slave tribe and they're killing descendants of reigning king and the rest of israelites just watch?

comment Should retroactive divorce (a la David & Batsheva) be reinstituted?
And why would a rabbi (as well as religious authority in my countries) care so much to get people stick in marriage anyway? If they want to split, so what?

comment How was Saul a Tzadik if he wiped out Nov?
I am sorry if this offend anyone. Priests are like supreme court justice right? You mean they serve a function, a sacred one I suppose. Hence it's usually more wrong to kill priests than regular humans. Also those priests are not guilty of treason. Read again. They didn't know that Saul wanted David death. Saul knew that they didn't know.

comment Non-belief in Torah's divinity - Wickedness or Ignorance?
Saducees do not believe in after life. I suppose Rabam disagree with saducees either. Tough luck Rabam.

What about those who simply don't know? After all there are many version of Torahs each differing by more than 1 word. We got septuagint. We got masoretic. We got samaritan bible. Also some verses in leviticus where Moses explain how he died (in past tenses) couldn't possibly be written by Moses. If we do not even know the author how do we trust the content?

comment why half-believe the Torah?
3 (not 2 million) jews in Sinai could not be wrong. But what we have is not a direct testimony of those 2 million jews. What we have is varying copy of ancient scrolls, many of which may be falsified. The christians deal with this problem all day. In fact, most gospels actually have anonymous author. Not sure how Torah can be accurate. The greek are quite technologically advance and even more so than the jews.

By that same logic, Hitler also didn't kill many jews. C'mon....

Ah, in theory he also didn't kill the Nov, he only ordered the novs to be killed. One generation latter, David also didn't kill Saul's descendants. Dave only surrender those descendants to Gibeonites and let the chemistry run. I see. Always do bad things with others' hand. That's like Political Science 101 right? God can't see that?

comment Why doesn't Ahab have the right to just seize land as he see fits?
A king is just a businessman that bet his blood rather than just money.
