comment What is the history of Teimani peyos?
@sam, the information I am looking for is the history of the practice, not necessarily reasons why to have long payos. Do we have some reason to believe that Teimanim learned it from Mordechai?

comment Hashem studies Torah?
@TamirEvan Because I was once specifically taught by a rav that עוסק בתורה always means "study" and not "teach." (I may very well have misunderstood what he meant.)

comment Using a non-kosher rotating pizza oven
The steam from the pizza may reach the upper heater, but the steam from the upper heater certainly does not reach the pizza, since it is not enclosed. For this reason, I am not sure that this is an analogous situation to a broiler oven. Also, since the question relates to an appliance in a common area, it cannot be assumed to remain kosher. Would a foil covering suffice instead of replacing the turntable?

comment What does “Baruch shem k'vod malchuso l'olam vaed” mean?
Sorry, I posted it as a comment because I don't have a source. It's just they way I've thought about it.

Another way you could look at it: כבוד מלכותו could be a description of Hashem, as he is the glorious one of his kingdom, or the one who brings glory to his kingdom. Then the whole thing is just an elaborate way to say "Blessed is the name of Hashem forever."

@Efraim I don't understand the problem or the downvote. It seems to me like a simple, straightforward question.

Thank you, I did not anticipate that answer. (By the way, my assumption was not that the tumtum and androginos categories are not relevant, but that modern scientific methods are not directly relevant to the determination of halacha. I have re-worded for clarity.)
