What are the sources that a husband may beat his wife? What if the wife is chayav malkos and the husband is the court whipper? What if the wife needs a chiropractor and the husband is a good one? |

How can I know a rav has daas Torah By the way, see Gemara of R' Eliezer ben Rabbi Shimon hunting criminals. Even though he made a terrible mistake (he hung someone who insulted him) it turned out lemafreya that he was right (the person deserved to die). R' Eliezer said "Sisu Bnei Meyay" that they were right even when "wrong" |

How can I know a rav has daas Torah They don't find point #2 to be so terrible, point #1 could be that they did what Torah considers "due diligence" and didn't find anything, point #3 could be a mix of points #1 and #2 |

How does this math work out? @J.C.Salomon the second way is solvable if r = 70.71 . I find it interesting that it's almost exactly the size of a karfef. But the gemara doesn't mention this as a possibility. |

What kind of cleanliness is required to put on Tefillin? And it doesn't say that women can't wear tefillin because "they can't pay attention to them". Just cleanliness. |

What kind of cleanliness is required to put on Tefillin? It seems (Lefi Anius Daatu) that "al pi peshat" a person just has to be clean enough not to sleep or pass gas. |
