comment What is the meaning of the tetragrammaton vowelised to read Elokim?
@WAF I do not feel my question is general. Yechezkel could have written אלקים and chose to write the tetragrammaton vowelised to read Elokim. It is the reason for this specific change that interests me here.

comment Should we use a picture of the Western Wall as a “mizrach”?
@DoubleAA Do I understand you to think that the Shulchan Oruch Horav is not bothered about davenning in front of decorations on the wall of some other place where one davens and if so why?

@DoubleAA I go to someone's house for a shiur. He has the mizrach to which I refer in the question. Afterwards we daven maariv. That is the origin of the question.

comment Can I fold my neighbour’s tallis if I find it in Shul unfolded a day or more after Shabbos?
@ClintEastwood Thanks for the nlresources link. I asked my Rav this afternoon and he said (1) the sholom bayis thing probably only applies on motzoei shabbos and (2) there is an element of hashovas aveidoh as per your last comment. Can I suggest you please edit the nlresources point into your answer?

comment December 25 Greetings
@AdamMosheh I thought the issue was the Jew wishing the non-Jew well for his festival a bit like doing business with him ahead of his festival (first mishnah in Avodoh Zoroh). And see Shalom's comment Dec 18 '09 at 14:17 to "December greeting responses".

comment Kissing a child in the Ezras Nashim
I have been told by an OR that since this law occurs in Hilchos Tefillo and not in Hilchos Beis Haknesses, it should be allowed to kiss a child not at the time of prayer.

comment May a Kohen become a doctor?
@Fred Yes, thanks. I think it's now pretty clear that it is would be very difficult for a kohen to qualify and work as a doctor according to Rabbi Feinstein ztz"l.
