comment How to say mizonos first on an ice cream cone
OU.org says the cone does not need a brocho; it is subordinate to the ice cream. "Even if ice cream is eaten in a cone, only Shehakol is necessary, since the cone is eaten only because of the ice cream and is clearly subordinate to it. Its purpose is actually not so much to be eaten as to hold the ice cream and to prevent the hands from becoming soiled <snip> However, if you specifically use a sugar cone because you enjoy eating it, Mezonot must also be said before eating the cone.

comment HaKohen, HaLevi - source and reason
Kohanim do not go up to duchan with laced shoes. According to Rav Ashi the reason is that Kohanim have to be careful not be thought of as a chalal (invalid Kohen). I suggest that the reason for writing after HaKohen their names is to show that they are genuine kohanim and not chalalim. I don’t have the same justification for the Leviyim.

comment Are homeopathic remedies kosher?
But if there is not a single molecule present - then there is nothing there of it. This is not a question of bittul - it's a question of existence (so to speak).

comment May one say the letters of Hashem's name i.e. “Yud hei vov hei”?
@SethJ Yes - but the letters Yud Kei (and Vov Kei, my Rav tells me) create a name of Hashem on their own.
