comment Is buying a lottery ticket a lack of faith?
Sorry @avi! Rereading my question I see where you inferred I was calling lottery winning miraculous. I meant only to exclude miracles from consideration of how Hashem might make you rich. I will try to find a better wording.

Rewrote it to elicit answers from haskafa.

comment Is buying a lottery ticket a lack of faith?
@IsaacMoses Please suggest how it might be rewritten to elicit sourced, objective answers from the treasury of Jewish hashkafa rather than opinions

comment Taking a concubine (pilegesh) today
@SAH The shtar in 'kesev, shtar, biah' is not the ketubah, but a document which states: Behold Sara is betrothed to Avram according to the laws of Moshe and Yisrael. The ketubah is a seperate, rabbinically-enacted document obligating the husband beyond Torah requirements for the sake of the wife.

comment How should we respond to objectionable content in a public forum?
@ArielK, I agree with you that there are circumstances that call for public rebuke. Still, in your link to the Mishneh Torah the Rambam specifies in halacha 12 that publicly rebuking and embarrassing a sinner (under particular conditions) is only after attempting to correct him in private.
