Cos he didn't want her to upset Adam more than she had already done so.

comment Where did Moses's successor come from if he had no parents?
My pointed out that Joshua worse shoes. This is evidenced by the fact that he is told to remove them (Joshua 5:15). IMO, this then makes him an amphibian.

It also has the result that people won't be afraid to come. They wouldn't fear getting stuck on teh way back.

comment Was Mordechai upset that Ahashverush purposely hid from the rabbis the fact that drinking was like a religion?
Actually the missing 111 is completed from the drinking itself or rather by the regurgitatibg the drink. This is known in Hebrew as קיא which is gematria 111. Hence the over drinking completes the full 613.9

comment Are non-Orthodox marriages recognized by Orthodox rabbis?
@DoubleAA That's not relevant to a wedding. The actual ceremony requires two witnesses for it to be binding. For example, if a couple "admit" that they got married in private without anyone around - he said the required words etc. it is irrelevant.

comment Are non-Orthodox marriages recognized by Orthodox rabbis?
The problem with that is that, as opposed to many other contracts, a wedding is not valid if there were not two valid witnesses. It is they who make it valid. Without them it is worthless.

Same as we use. Anything on a tree is fruit, wheat etc is grain. Tomato and other "fruits" are counted as vegs since they don't grow on trees.

This comes from Rambam - Laws of Kilaim. Chap 5 Halacha 4. Only grain and vegs are forbidden. Anything else is ok. mechon-mamre.org/i/7105.htm

1. אין אסור משום כלאי הכרם, אלא מיני תבואה ומיני ירקות בלבד. אבל שאר מיני זרעים, מותר לזורען בכרם; ואין צריך לומר, שאר אילנות.
