TOras chayim or ToRAS chayim in 19th b'racha? Actually, the correct pronounciation would be "toRAT". Other than that, this is correct. |

words often mispronounced Are you also excluding mistaken dialects? i.e. correct (or I should say common) in a given dialect, but that dialect is not correct Hebrew? |

words often mispronounced that should be "kochacha", as in "yours" not "his". But yes, I;m bugged by that one... |

Passing an infant across a table Probably has to do with wide tables, and worry about dropping the baby. Or leaky diapers dripping on the table. Seems more like one of those "I cut off the ends of the roast because my pan was too small. Why did you?" things... |

Do Jewish people keep a Bible or other scripture in their homes? @Yaakov, thank you, I stand corrected - I do remember learning that now, its what happens when I write too early in the morning :) |

Do Jewish people keep a Bible or other scripture in their homes? If I'm not mistaken, the commandment is for a King to write his own sefer torah, I don't think it applies to everyone? |

Shiv'a Ushloshim Umatayim - mi yodeya? @Alex is correct, that verse is close, but not quite. Still, I'll leave it for entertainment value... |

Robot as a competent proxy? Btw, isnt this similar to the debate about matza shmura, between hand- and machine- made? That is, some hold the machine cant have the correct intent, whereas others hold that the machine does not need the intent, but it can be more precise with the timings and such. |

What's the leading medical explanation for the “woman whose husbands keep dying” (“katlanit”) phenomenon? Is the woman not suspected of foul play, at any stage? |

Are there any Jewish people alive today who can identify themselves as coming from a particular tribe? Ah, missed that part. Thanks! |

Are there any Jewish people alive today who can identify themselves as coming from a particular tribe? Around the time of the Ethiopian immigration, there was talk about them being from Shimon (if my memory serves - or was it Ephraim?). Do you have any sources wrt them? |
