shiduch date haircut during sefira Why would a "shidduch date" be special, as opposed to a "regular" date? |

Is Guinness Beer no longer kosher? Wow, good to hear about this. I would really like to hear some definitive answers... (Hopefully that it still is...) Thanks! |

Can God destroy Himself? The "nonsense" you mention towards the end is actually a better translation than "impossible", even though that is strictly what he wrote he meant it in terms of nonsensical. As in, "it is impossible to conceptualize such a concept", not that "it cannot be done". |

Mordechai - Religious Leader or Political figure? ah, right - well, it is spread out around the comments here. I don't really remember what was missing, but I will try to collate it all and summarize. Before Purim.... |

Why aren't Purim and Channuka considered a violation of לֹא תֹסִפוּ? Seriously? Zuckerberg is your best example of authority on programming? Facebook's success had nothing to do with the quality (or lack thereof) of his code. |

Blessing on the next American President If you really believe that who gets elected will have any effect (positive or negative) on you directly, you probably don't need to say any brachot, since you are obviously a shoteh :-) |

In Eretz Yisroel Kosher In Chutz Laretz Posul I second @SimchasTorah's comment, why do you say it is automatically granted? Just because it is very common in certain neighborhoods, does not mean permission is granted. (This probably has more to do with Israeli chutzpa than any kind of implicit Israel permission... :-) ) |

Bris vs. critical thinking? @TRiG you... are absolutely correct. I did make that assumption, not realizing I was assuming it. Reasonable assumption, but still, you are correct. |

Called to the Torah before wedding Fair enough, I was not rebuking you for mentioning it :). As for whether throwing candy is proper or not, there are several halachic reasons (and non-halachic), but that's really it's own question, isnt it... |

What is the preferable form of Biur Chametz? @SethJ Hehe, okay, yeah, thats the obvious best one - bal tashchit and all that - but I thought it obvious that I meant besides that. |
