I mostly work with Novell/NetIQ Identity Manager, an XML based product that use XSLT, XPATH, and DirXML Script (its own XML based language).

I have written a book on the topic of the DirXML Script language.

@Dave that was my understanding. Or at least how my mom explained it to me. And being a nice Jewish boy I know not to doubt my mother.

@avi The more things change, the more they stay the same. Not worth a down vote though. :)

comment Esrog flax on woolen clothes
I recall pressed felt, made of mixed fibers as a possible shatnez. Functionally, pressed felt seems like the same as above?

I always thought it was hemp, but I am young enough that the early 80's would be when I began to remember such stuff.

And asking reminded me to go find my kittel, glad I looked, since my wife had moved it somewhere only she knows about. :)

comment Why is it ok to use tap water/toilets on Shabbos? Considering the source of the water pressure
I get your point, but I suppose it is a question of how 'disconnected' does it have to be, before it stops being a concern?

@msh210: I thought I did. When you use water, something has to compensate. Since water systems around the world differ (Gravity fed due to mountain based sources, vs water towers (Pumps) vs dams, vs simple pumping stations something is happening because you used the water.

Does that assume that there are enough people that the system needing more water is pretty much constant and always running? Like I have heard for people in large Manhattan apartment buildings being ok using the hot water on Shabbos?
