Is there any Jewish-Muslim dialogue that has come to an agreement on anti-Jewish Hadith? Thanks. From this and other research and reading it seems the original link is not inventing anything. |

Is there any Jewish-Muslim dialogue that has come to an agreement on anti-Jewish Hadith? Well Isaac, you're probably right. I was more asking, is the United-with-Israel site portraying things in a way that most Jewish readers would find fair and balanced? |

Is it possible for a Gentile to convert to Judaism? I recently came across an example; Mary Doria Russell, an author, was raised Catholic and converted to Judaism. She talks a little bit about it, in the study-guide/afterword in the edition I have of her novel "The Sparrow". |

Good books for non-Jews who are interested in understanding Judaism, especially branches of Orthodox judaism Maybe my terminology is wrong. For example, I have an Orthodox email-penpal who lives in Jerusalem, and is a member of a sect, or group, within Orthodox Judaism. Perhaps sect, or subgroup is a better word, than branch? |

Good books for non-Jews who are interested in understanding Judaism, especially branches of Orthodox judaism Now you've inspired a new question. Great novels featuring jewish observance and religious life. I just love Chaim Potok's The Chosen, and My Name is Asher Lev, for example. |

Good books for non-Jews who are interested in understanding Judaism, especially branches of Orthodox judaism The Herman Wouk one looks great, and so does Horeb. Both in fact, seem quite promising! Thanks! |

Good books for non-Jews who are interested in understanding Judaism, especially branches of Orthodox judaism I read that first link already before once. Aish.com seems pretty great. I'm reading lots on the second one too. I am, I must confess, addicted to reading those offline objects composed of paper, so I hope someone comes along with a book idea, too. |
