comment Should I wear tefillin during Chol HaMoed?
Usually there is no unitary 'minhag Eretz Yisroel', but with regards to tefillin on chol hamoed, the original groups there all had one minhag - (the sefardim there and the talmidei hagra and chassidim all didn't wear it.)

comment In light of modern science, why is bee honey still kosher?
Maybe the release of an enzyme isn't enough to be considered "yotzei" from the non-kosher animal. Camel milk is clearly something the camel "creates" internally (and it doesn't depend on a specific food) but bees create honey directly from nectar in honeycombs.

comment How are pre-creation >4000 BCE human civilization and pre-flood >2300 BCE civilizations that continued reconciled with Judaism?
@Fred I think the problem with Aristotle's view is it would basically mean God isn't involved in the world, not because it contradicts the literal meaning of a couple pesukim.

comment Does מין mean Christian, and if so what are the implications?
christianity would be heresy either way for a Jew so what nafka mina is there? (though your example may often be dealt with differently nowadays.)

comment Any Halachic Problems with App Publishing?
Lifnei iver is more limited than that, so you don't need to worry about people using it on shabbos, etc.

comment Oops, you said Boruch Atta Hashem Elokeinu in error
@DoubleAA, I added a source. I'm not sure why it needs to be a pasuk, but that is the custom.

comment Oops, you said Boruch Atta Hashem Elokeinu in error
Who says you need to say a complete passuk? One can quote any part of a passuk. I'm aware some have a chumra to say a whole passuk, but that shouldn't affect what you do when stuck.

comment Is the Halachic concept of taste transfer accepted by scientists and chefs?
In actual halacha, if you cook something kosher in a pot that was used for non-losher, the food is still kosher if a chef cannot detect an added taste from the non-kosker dish (and it has to be a positive or neutral taste). Ashkenazim are usually more machmir though.

comment Is the “I” consciousness from the body or from the soul
Even if the soul is as assumed in the question, how do you know it wouldn't follow the brain? So your nafka mina may not work.

comment Why is the beracha acharona for bread the longest?
@DoubleAA, each part gets own beracha = longer overall than "מעין שלוש" version.

comment Why is the beracha acharona for bread the longest?
@DoubleAA, since md'oraysa you need to mention 3 ideas, they made a beracha for each one. this is to give each idea its own importance (a little bit like not making mitzvos chavilos).

comment “Silk-Screened” Sifrei Torah
R' Belsky (cited above) 'somewhat defends the silk screening process'. His problem with silk-screened sifrei torah is that it would be easier to forge.
