What is the philosophy or logic for considering masturbation to be sinful? I agree that repressed sexuality is bad. But "normal and healthy" is not masturbate, is sex. Otherwise, what is the propose to man have a penis and woman a vagina? Btw, the only reason that you are in the world is because your father and mother did the real normal and healthy way. Probably, if you are saying that masturbate is good, you dont know what is sex... Sex is much more complex, pleasure and healthy for our body and mind than masturbate. Thats why: 1-You brought the natural crave concept. 2-If something is in the natural crave, no problems with "giving yourself extra cravings". 3- You define your concept saying "It is not a natural crave in any society that hasn't experienced it". 4- My question: alcohol and coffee is not a natural crave according to your concept, so how r they allow to use? |

If you fail once after 3 weeks of fasting, you DONT have a free pass to sin until the new fast. Each sin is a sin, and a new challenge that you have to gain. If you truly believe that commit this sin will be harmful for your soul, body and mind, you will see that any argument that you have to do it, you are fooling yourself(you will realize this just after the desire is gone). What is the philosophy or logic for considering masturbation to be sinful? Have a gemara(dont remember also when) that says that have a member that more you feed more is the hunger. So when the person stop in the begging is very hard, but tend to get easier. |

Since get married wasnt a valid possibility for me that time, I searched about the subject and apparently (dont remember the sources...) that masturbate is really bad and repulsive by G-d and is WORSE than some kinds of sexual relations... |

Different than marijuana these substances makes you addicted. Every kind of food have a body and mind effect. Ramchal also says that connection to G-d is a kind of wisdom and, like other wisdom per example: math or medicine, you just get this wisdom with the study. |
