comment Can one say Vayechulu Friday Night alone?
@msh210, not only to free aguna, it's also enough to say something is kosher (עד אחד נאמן באיסורין)

comment Why the vast difference of opinion about the age of the Universe?
@Isaac Moses "God makes supernatural miracles from time to time. This is the exception rather than the rule" - actually you contradicts RAMBA"N Shmot 13:17:"מן הנסים הגדולים המפורסמים אדם מודה בנסים הנסתרים שהם יסוד התורה כלה, שאין לאדם חלק בתורת משה רבינו עד שנאמין בכל דברינו ומקרינו שכלם נסים אין בהם טבע ומנהגו של עולם"

comment How does salt “add heat” (mishna in Shabbos 4(1))
in Baba Basra 17:1 (mechon-mamre.org/b/l/l4302.htm) it is also mentioned that salt makes same type of destruction to wall as olive waste, so there we see also that it adds heat.

comment Where is there a good online source to check how often a word appears in Tanach?
There is a freeware program with much less books then Bar Ilan but for counting words in Tanach is should be enough. Link: toratemetfreeware.com

@YDK, look here: he.wikisource.org/wiki/… . Especially this line "והלא מושבע ועומד הוא, ואין שבועה חלה על שבועה"

comment What is the proper length of the Tefilin Shel Rosh straps?
If we are talking about the length of the straps it worth mentioning that the straps should be of different length, I mean one shorter then another. Don't know what is the source for that.

comment Learning Hebrew on my own?
If you know alef-beis and Niqqud you don't need transliteration, or maybe I'm missing something about the question.

comment question on Rashi to M'nachos 57
About the first question: I haven't learned that specific place, but I wan to note that rishonim knew plenty of things that were not written down in gemara (don't forget, we are dealing with oral torah).

comment Question about the actions of Pinchas when he killed Zimri
I wanted to show that there is no place for much astonishment about the fact that a single person can kill the sinner while the beis din can not. I approve that the gerama I cited doesn't directly applies to your question. Even the opposite is correct: Pinhas was rodef according to Zimri, so Zimri could even kill him if he was able to.

comment Sh'ma aloud but amida quietly
+1, I was thinking the same, while reading the question :). One more point is that first verse of Shema is short enough to be said in unison, while the whole Shemona Esrei is not.

@Ariel, There are people that are saying Kaddish's for others that died and haven't left religious relatives after them
