comment Are there any tanakh search engines?
@Shokhet I used it once (about a year or two ago) and it was good. But now I see that their last build was on 2013-07-13 (launchpad.net/~moshe-wagner/+archive/orayta), maybe they just didn't created a distribution for newer versions. What version of Linux OS do you have?

comment Ehad Mi Yodea on the mishnayos
@Fred those are not 11 "distinguishable objects", just counting number of mezakin. Also in Middos, it's just the length of something, not counting objects.

@DoubleAA wow, didn't knew someone already tried this. Anyway, there are some problems with that song. For example "Ehad hofer bor" is not about numbers, also there is no 12 (like msh210 said) and no 13.

Yes, the Mikvaos is perfect. About 12 - it not satisfies the question criteria.

@MeirZirkind You are correct, that is the question. Wasn't that clear? If so I'll try to add explanations.

I think this was intended to be a split of that question. As was proposed in the comments there.

@DoubleAA I'm not aware of any historical reasons. Anyway, that's not something the questioner was interested in.

@DoubleAA no, do you ask about coincidence? My previous comment tries to explain the "why" and in the answer you have "when".

comment Fireworks on Motzei Shabbos
If the problem is to miss davening in a minyan, then it's another question, has nothing to do with shabbos. According the havdalah - I don't think there is problem to postpone it. Actually, one can make havdalah even on the next day.

What obligations do mean? Ma'ariv and Havdalah? You can make them later?

@DoubleAA Maybe because now we buy things more frequently and we are really happy only when we start use them.

comment Sheva Brachos when getting divorced
@msh210 first citation is gruhsas libo in Nedorim, point 7 in he.wikipedia.org/wiki/… and according to second citations - it's "k" from "yaal kagam" where the halaha is according to Abaye against Rove (don't remember who say what). Anyway, I think that the prohibition of bnei tisha midos is not strong enough to invalidate the kiddushin.
