comment Das Torah regarding taking notes during Shiurim
I admit that it happens to me that I miss part of the lesson while I'm writing the previous things. However, this way I have at least one part of the lesson written, therefore I have a chance to reread it later and to remember something. When the lesson it recorded I rarely find a time to relisten the whole lesson once again.

comment Did Cain and Hevel have דעת?
@andrewmh20 I don't have a solid prove, it's just a speculation. Note the usage of the word suppose.

comment What time is sunset?
@IsaacMoses he is not a famous person, so his name wouldn't say much to you. Anyway I edited the answer.

comment Why is it permissible to flush a toilet on Shabbat?
I asked myself the same question some time ago, and the only kulah I found was that this is melacha she'eina tzicha legufa (the result of the work is not required), because you want the water (and etc.) not to be in your house and not that you need it to be outside.

comment Shmitah nowadays?
@Yishaq but now we do not have Yovel, so anyway there should not be a difference between Hcachamim and R. Yehuda.

I don't know what is written in the sources that you cite, but our calendar very different from what you suggest.

comment May an Ashkenazi wear Yemenite Tzitzith?
@NoachmiFrankfurt I think that you are not correct. From this part of the question: "a double-knot at the base of the tassle in order for the Tzitzith to be Kosher, regardless of how they are tied after that" I understand that he is talking about the knot above.

About the jump to extremes about am haaretz, I heard once that a man can be am haaretz related to one thing but not another. So not all am haaretz that are mentioned in the Gemorah are the same.

@DoubleAA does any of them applies to muslims? Is "ger" refers to ger toshav or get tsedek?

comment What year was the first Shemita?
@ShmuelBrin during the 70 years the shemita was counted miderabanan. Like we count now, after the destruction of the second temple, mederabanan (according to most of opinions).

comment At what point does a chazzan take three steps back after chazaras hashatz?
I also heard once this answer. But what happens if the Sha'tz for second part of the prayer (Ashrei and after that) is not the same person?

comment Are there any tanakh search engines?
@Shokhet I used it once (about a year or two ago) and it was good. But now I see that their last build was on 2013-07-13 (launchpad.net/~moshe-wagner/+archive/orayta), maybe they just didn't created a distribution for newer versions. What version of Linux OS do you have?

comment Ehad Mi Yodea on the mishnayos
@Fred those are not 11 "distinguishable objects", just counting number of mezakin. Also in Middos, it's just the length of something, not counting objects.

comment Ehad Mi Yodea on the mishnayos
@DoubleAA wow, didn't knew someone already tried this. Anyway, there are some problems with that song. For example "Ehad hofer bor" is not about numbers, also there is no 12 (like msh210 said) and no 13.

Yes, the Mikvaos is perfect. About 12 - it not satisfies the question criteria.
