Double Yud as G-ds Name A wise European Rabbi used to say: "When two 'Yidden' get together, they can create godliness". |

How should parents divide wedding expenses with their child's future in-laws Excellent explanation! Do you know if any communities base their arrangements on the implication of this Gemara? |

Getting married in age order I understand that, but I wouldn't call it "forgiveness". More like seeking their blessing. |

Getting married in age order Why must the younger sister/brother ask for forgiveness? Did they do something terrible to them? |

Why is the Jewish Population so small? This is a good question. I wouldn't be surprised if there were hundreds of millions more who can directly trace their ancestry to Jews, within 5 to 10 generations. |

Why is the Jewish Population so small? @TofeeqAhmad I think the explanation for that is that religious Jews (which until 300 years ago were essentially all Jews) never feared that Judaism would become extinct since God guaranteed it wouldn't. There was never a need to "expand" and "recruit". In fact Jews turned potential converts away - sometimes with devastating consequences. |

Are the Jews today still waiting for the Messiah to come? Perhaps the prophecy of world-wide belief in God will be that the Muslims convert everyone to Islam. They believe in the same God and they're nearly a third of the world's population already |

If a woman had more than one husband, to which would she be united at the Resurrection? If she gets divorced, and neither her or her husband remarries, are the resurrected together? |

What to do with the Cross on the Chess King? Not all Christian crosses have one line longer vertically. For example, St. George's cross. |

Do ceramic salt and pepper shakers need to be immersed in a Mikvah before use? Is salt considered food? You can't eat it on its own |
