SaturdayGuard seems to have taken their site down for shabbos, and for weekdays too. Parked domain name in 2014.

@Dennis, based on their location is logical. It's how all chagim are observed. (I'm from the USA, but if I'm in Israel, I use local time to observe.)

@Ze'evFelsen, Are you perchance related to a Rabbi in Palo Alto of the same family name?

Looks like it, because it's named "Luach Nissan", which is this user's first name.

comment What are the 14 types of Jewish Years?
No offense taken. :-) I uploaded the question so that this information would be archived on the Internet for posterity. Take a look at the FAQs and you'll see that you're allowed to answer your own question. It's in that spirit that I completed the question and answer.

comment What was the first Hebrew date of the first Molad?
There was a first Molad though, right? What does no Jerusalem have to do with anything in this context? At some point there was, and then there was a molad.

@DoubleAA I'd consider a person who wears stone gloves to be absolutely insane.

Is there a way to figure out that chart algorithmically? Number of centuries since "year 500"?

@DoubleAA I'm going to have to go over it again, but thanks for the starting point. Too tired to look at the moment. Also, Ultimate Omer 2 just got an update approved. Please email me for a promo code as thanks for your help. moshberm {at} gmail, thanks.

@DoubleAA - Haha, and right you are. I studied this in a few places, but I was feeling a bit lazy while coding and decided it makes a good question for this site regardless.

comment Is there a hebrew term for Jahrzeit?
@msh210 I'm very much aware of what German is. I don't care about the OED. The word Jahr and Zeit haven't changed between those two evolutions of Hochdeutsch. Word usage and grammar have changed, but those words still exist. As far as this conversation goes, German refers to the several evolutions of Germanic languages represented by modern German. Don't get me started on Yiddish. Excuse me for saying this, but Yiddish is a "crowd sourced" language. If it's from Yiddish, it's really from German or wherever. What I like to call Hickdeutsch.

You're forgetting the computer too. Add at least 300 to that. Plus extension cables to hide the computer somewhere. And a mount. And finish to hide the cable.

Apparently it is permitted, the question is why it should be.
