Cheshvan or MarCheshvan? their is no holiday in cheshvan because this month was saved for the third temple. It will be in CHeshvan that the third temple will be inaugurated. |

Simchas Yom Tov for one's wife: what if she otherwise gets clothes etc.? You do not have to dig deep in to chazal to know that your happiness will not be complete without your wifes happiness , and if it costs afew extra gifts then so be it. |

Simchas Yom Tov for one's wife: what if she otherwise gets clothes etc.? in my opinion i think it will definetly bring the the bond between husband, wife the yom tov to a higher level of simcha either way it would definitely be a mitsva, mitsva to bring simcha to the wife and making simcha in the merit of the yom tov. |

The curse of cannibalism yes, because they removed from themselves the yoke of heaven to go towards idol worship or whatever it was that was not towards hashem torah and mitsvot which gives am yisroel its freedom, thus they lost all freedom including to chose the life of their own children. |

Wearing Gold On Yom HaKippurim If your davening in a minion on yom kippur and majority do not wear it then it wouldn't be proper for you to wear it in the first place, but on shabbat its more proper because we consider shabbat as a kalla and even on a romantic meal, one is with his wife he would wear his most attracting of clothes (as on shabbat),but picture yourself going before a king of judgement that knows all that is in your heart, all sins (intentional or unintentional) the last thing that would be on ones mind is jewelry because it is a life and death situation(one should really try to dress as pious as he can) |
