@DoubleAA, yes, I was referring to the question more than the answer.

@DoubleAA נשרף isn't applied to just anything "not of value"

@DoubleAA Even things originally Jewish are to be treated as מינות when coming from a מין. Though I don't know about actually abandoning things they imitated (see Seth's comment)

The ark was partially submerged. Like any ship.

comment Can one use terumah to light a stove?
The commentary on 10:4 - this is not prohibited isn't referring to the lighting, which is prohibited, but to enjoying it בדיעבד

comment Why did Moshe and Aaron need to use a staff in initiating the plagues?
Welcome Aaliyah to Mi Yodea! You make a good point, but sources and further support of your answer would be appreciated.

comment How are Spartans the son of Abraham?
Hi, Welcome to Mi Yodea. thank you for your interesting insight. You bring circumstantial claims, using hard sources would make the answer more reliable.

comment Why has the Mishnah Berurah become the Authoritative Halachik Work instead of the Aruch haShulchan?
+1. MB collects rather than paskens (though he does). Aruch HaShulchan goes through the sugya and gives a psak - which isn't always an accepted psak (Cholek on SA, RMA etc.)

comment Employment questions I have
The questions can be rephrased to Halachic questions. I suggest OP clarifies before further action.

Just goes even greater. To quote R' Kook: מה קטנו מעשיך ה'. (it is amazing how much Hashem put into things so small)

It would be a sign of my greatness to spend time on something so insignificant relative to me

Hi. Could you explain better what the problem is with the answer you referenced? It seems to hit the spot.

comment Using a cell phone as a watch on Shabbos
I was told it wouldn't work since it's a 'trick' and the real purpose of the phone is to call

comment Matzah Shemurah on the 8th day of Pesaḥ (in the Diaspora)
@Yehoshua - הציבי לך ציונים. Mitzvot are meant to be done in Israel, out of Israel it's only practice. This doesn't actually necessarily mean that all is drabanan.
