Things to see: @invis_insight

I've worked for more than 13 years, designing products for web ventures, from 3-person initiatives to medium-large industry. Strong Presentation and Negotiation Skills have been key to this work (in addition to the full monte; infrastructure, database design, core algorithms, scaling, backed and frontend frameworks, test-ability, compliance, and UI/UX + SEO).

I also design technology & products by drawing from a history of fabrication, prototyping, sourcing, and scientific research (applied physics). I am a practicing sculptor, and establish new product aesthetics via my own approach to engineering fluid-mechanical processes. From this work in water, I have built a broad & deep knowledge-base on the application of fluid phenomenon to industry needs.

I have lead successful small-capitalization stages, wrote grants & engaged program officers, developed teams and timelines, design of experiments, measurement, and business development.

comment Are there any Jewish sources which discuss the existence of auras or energy fields?
fwiw, you will find reproducibility if you continue reading. The techniques that the Global Consciousness Project used have further their own scientific aims as well as reinforcing PEAR's. So I could not harmonize with your assertion of basic flaws. Nor can I cannot speak for 'parapsychological desires', but I think that further good science can be done by new efforts like these.

We should remember, too, that as much as it is well to be conservative by-principle, we must also remember that research and Science advances what we know. Creation is a mystery to be explored. Some would consider the PEAR research controversial by common thinking, but 30 yrs of science still holds against critique. Yet, were someone to ask me about making a life-changing decision upon this research, I would have to know their life and situation very well to answer in any other way but conservatively! (and let me not seem in suggestion of avodah zarah)

comment What does “שברירי ברירי…‏” do? How?
If we can be certain that the beast is imaginary, then renaming would likely be a path to disposing of the problem, unless the alternative name is, by-chance, a pronunciation of another beast that is real (and presumably drawn nearer / invited by its name)

I think your proposal is arguing from the way the Rambam holds. I think this should be more clear. Else, How would ignoring the name of a thing rob it of its own essence? If it has been created, then its name is part of its existence. It would see that being unaware of its name can only remove from us control to act upon this wisdom that was gleaned and passed down.

I infer that this is a Psik Reisha D'Lo Nicha Ley on a Melacha Derabanan, as per the rationale here

revised Ezra claimed that samaritans are not jews. Is genetic data in conflict with this?
more palatable, and attempted to soften insults without removing the authentic aggression

I have heard someone say that Hebrews are their tribe, and Jews are their people. This is in-line with the comments here. I have edited to attempt to make more descent

comment What is the Hebrew term for the drawing of the hands inward during lighting of Shabbos candles?
@sam maybe it is from kabbalah, once for each veil of light before Keter.

comment What determines the sorts of cases in which one can deliberately not know the facts?
On a small note, would it be appropriate to tag this 'shiurim'? Or not, because these questions precede the measure itself?
