Where's Piece Number 10? Funnily enough, this actually happened to me a few years ago! I had made a mental note of where I'd hidden all 10 pieces, then I couldn't find the last one where I thought it was. I lost years of my life in the 5 minutes between discovering the loss... and finding the missing chometz, still in my pocket...! Since then I've always kept a written list of all the hiding places! |

How did Rambam eliminate “ben gilo” from the halacha? Yes, I did see the gemara in Nedarim, but it only adds to the kashya - once again, there's the "ben gilo" in the gemara that failed to make it into halacha... |

Are there any Jewish people alive today who can identify themselves as coming from a particular tribe? +1 for some really useful links in this answer! |

Are there any Jewish people alive today who can identify themselves as coming from a particular tribe? @Yaakov, OK point taken. So maybe the "10 tribes" were really 9... doesn't really affect the point I'm making here... :) |

Why are angelic icons not prominent in Judaism? @msh210 - please prove your assertion. And not from apostate Jewish artists; let's see it in Orthodox-inspired art. |

Why are angelic icons not prominent in Judaism? very misleading answer. Angels are certainly holy and special and unique, to the extent that there is even a dispute in halacha as to whether one may direct prayers through them! |

Why are angelic icons not prominent in Judaism? dunno who @WAF is, but you are incorrect about angels in Jewish art - it is forbidden by the Torah. See my answer. |

Whose semicha (ordination) was the last one signed/granted by Rabbi Joseph Dov Soloveichik? By Rabbi Moshe Feinstein? I'm just fascinated as to why anyone would care about the answer to this question. Are you just trying to "seed" the site with questions...? ;) |
