I don't know all the answers I give off the top of my head. Many of them I search for online or use an index.

If I am obligated to be drunk all the time, how is Purim different? The simple answer is that on Purim one has to be so drunk that he can't tell between Mordechai and Haman. |

If Sarah's Death is a “Merit” for Cheshvan, Why Isn't Moshe's Death a “Merit” for Adar? The Ibn Ezra quotes this midrash (not by name) but omits the whole thing about leap years. I guess without the whole leap year thing it works out anyway. |

Why did Lavan say “Ashre”? Now we can understand why Onkelos translates "תָּקַע" as saying Ashrei, because "מצות עשה מן התורה לזעוק ולהריע בחצוצרות על כל צרה שתבא על הצבור" (Rambam Ta'aniyos 1:1)! |

How big did Mordechai get, and was it only in the king's palace? Until we know who the kings of the media are, we won't be able to find out, because the full account is in their books (Ester 10:2). |

Can Purim Torah be heretical? It has to involve heresy. Either that, or you'll have to find some other way to fulfill your obligation of mishloach minus. |

May a Jew be a Freemason? @SethJ This rabbi apparently wrote a book on it. I don't have the book, however. |

Candles on Purim? What did I say that made you think I was saying that? I don't see it right now (in my previous comment I was pointing out that it is not specifically candles, which would seem to make my original comment less likely). |

Candles on Purim? Well, now that I look at the Elyah Rabbah, apparently the source of this (it seems he is quoting Seder HaYom), the candle-lighting seems to be just part of making the house look nice. |

Candles on Purim? I mean, since the whole thing of אורה זו תורה is learned from that verse (so there is some connection) |

Candles on Purim? Perhaps by the word "mitzvah" he is referring to the verse כי נר מצוה ותורה אור (though maybe that's a little far-fetched). |
