@DoubleAA Indeed, the linked discource discusses the fifth dimension of Torah in length - Wikipedia has quite a good summary.

comment Why shouldn't Gentiles keep Shabbat?
@Menachem It's forbidden for them to create a day where they don't work. Why?

This explains the source of the law, not the reason it is forbidden.

comment Bracha Lesheiv B'Suka when making Havdala
@DoubleAA No, he just writes: "ומהרי״ץ דושינסקי הי׳ מקפיד להשאר בסוכה קצת אחר הבדלה". (For some reason HebrewBooks.org is down for me ATM so I can't link to it). I have seen people specifically eat mezonos afterwards though.

@DoubleAA Good question. The Shevet Halevi quoted deals with it (and says that that's probably the reasons others do make le'shev basuka), and explains that since you can drink less than a revi'is of wine it is not considered "kvious" as far a sukkah is considered, although it is considered "kvious" with regards to Havdala.

@DoubleAA Why does Havdala need to be "settled" in order to be motzi someone else?

@DoubleAA Are you saying rubber bands are to beautify or that Lulav leaves are not? I can't imagine that the people find rubber bands attractive, while the Magen Avraham clearly does consider lulav leaves as decorative. Also the M"A is bothered by chatizta, and he doesn't answer that small helps.
