Ari Zal and Sefira You are claiming that this stringency further extends to all the practices of mourning, which is what I am taking issue with. I have no problem saying that the Arizal maintained that mourning must be observed throughout the 49 days of Sefira, but that is a separate thing from his opposition to haircuts. |
