@DoubleAA Thanks, yes I do study with a very qualified Rabbi in Israel, and his Rabbi is Rav Moshe Sternbuch.

Regarding the mitzvah exception on Shabbos: how does that go together with (Is 56:6-7)? I do not have a commentary of Maimonides, so I can't look it up. Maybe that's another question.

So, in effect you are saying that I have shorten my life between 10-30 years, because of my love for Hashem and the His people?

@Vezu I know exactly what you are talking about. I feel empathy for your situation. We know that every knee shall bow, and that this time is coming closer. Hashem has a reason for open your heart. If we look at Avraham we know how hard separation can be. I wish you all luck.

@Ariel Thank you. When you write Torah do you mean both Written Torah and Oral Torah?

Thank you Michoel I'm very grateful; but, are you not referring to documents that I'm not allowed to read?

@Michael yes. But I do not have a go ahead from the Beth Din yet.

comment Is a Jew allowed to participate on Christianity.SE?
Why try to write to the blind? I tried once, and it was not well received. I was once Christian and understand how they are thinking. I'm still among the goyim so for me I would not be a big issue. As a ger I would be careful having contact with any contact with any other religions. If the internet were invented 500 years ago, during the Inquisition, would you have asked the same question then?

I am learning hebrew at the moment and are struggling with the text. But if I understand your answer, angels does not always tell direct truth and make mistakes, and are therefore subjects to punishment?

Thank you, feels a bit strange not to be able to trust ones family, and very hard in practice. I mean what you are saying is applicable to other prohibitions too. I was reading about Ramban, and the prohibition of selling knifes to goyim. In that way I could not trust my wife with a knife. Although, I see your point.
