Must a woman cover her hair during childbirth? @GershonGold #1 is a general principle that the torah does not ask people to be angelic, meaning to go to superhuman lengths. similar to "Hashem does not overly trouble his creations". #2 if her life is in danger she should be exempt from extraneous actions and focus on the task at hand #3 I don't even know how to respond to that except to say it ain't always so pashut -- but in any case if it does fall off would she have to put it back on? Can I assume you concur with point #4? |

Must a woman cover her hair during childbirth? @GershonGold 1) lo nit'na torah l'malachei hashares 2)choleh sh'yeish bo sakana 3) kavod ha'brios (are we really going to ask her to hold onto her tichel while pushing out a baby?) 4)this is not a situation that is conducive to hirhur aveirah (similar to sotah) |

Making two brachos at once @DoubleAA that's what I'm having trouble understanding. I'm not making a hefsek that is unrelated to what I'm doing (eating crispix). Would this be similar to making 2 brachos on lighting the menorah? |

How does laughing confuse the Satan? @Alex to be clear I was only told the "to confuse the satan" part, the rest I surmised on my own (so it could be totally incorrect). |

Why do we cover the challot on Shabbos? so if I understand correctly, to summarize, the embarrassment issue comes from a non-extant Yerushalmi? And the earliest source after that is the Mordechai in Pesachim? |

Are the airuv rav compared to tza'ras? I have vague recollection of learning something to this effect once and it would make a killer addition to my shavuos dvar torah |

Are you culpable for things done under hypnosis? @MonicaCellio you can certainly extend the question to being drugged though hypnosis is much easier to do through simple verbal suggestion. regarding damages see judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/6397/… |

Are conservative, reform and those “off the derech” part of 'amcha'? also, @IsaacMoses probably worth drafting some guidelines re-user ids |

how do you pronounce the soft reish? @msh210 kaplan lists 14 used in 10 discrete words, my question is how exactly are those letters properly pronounced. ps. you should totally open a sefer y'tzira, it's awesome. |
