comment At a non-kosher restaurant, is sliced raw fish kosher?
@unforgettableid I have seen it served this way in certain restaurants - while I'm not sure daikon is charif, even so one could presumably ask that it be served by itself. At any rate, for what it's worth, when I brought the question to my rov he said the whole premise was not a good idea.

@minhag I don't know that I could give specific examples about which I'm wondering but I could include in the question some specific examples in Sefard with which I am familiar.

comment Final Nun vs. Final Mem in “Madlikin”
This difference is also seen between various nusachos in Shacharis by the first blessing before the Shema, where some have umvorchin umshabchin...umamlichin whereas some have umvorchim umshabchim...umamlichim.

comment how do we get out of non-achdus and golus?
@AdamMosheh I hear you but there are different opinions - look at the first chapter of Tanya, for example. As for whether or not a person could really be a rasha gamur, it seems to me that it is only a theoretical state and not possible in practice. As Rebbe Nachman says, even one who would otherwise be a rasha gamur at least has the merit of being a Jew.

@AdamMosheh there's only One who can really answer that question... but I guess it depends too on your definition.

I assumed it was just good midos. If the boys don't, some men usually do.

comment How do we explain how God told jews to treat Egyptian, Amalekites, and Nearby Nations that Simply Refuse to do Labors
You are misunderstanding the actions of Amalek, which were an outright denial of G-d. Similarly, the residents of Canaan were so morally bankrupt that to work for a holy people was in and of itself a path to holiness.
