comment Is it permissible for a Jewish woman to marry a Muslim man and vice versa?
@Seth J Please quote me one verse from the Torah or Na"Ch (the rest of the Hebrew bible) where legacy Judaism is justified. First of all there is no such word "Jew" or "Judaism" there. The books which are considered the primary sources does not contain these concocted terms. This is an open fact. If you compare it with Islam then you can see that the term "Muslim" is in the Quran, the term "Islam" is in the Quran but again things that are innovated and concoted by psuedo clerics (or Mullahs) can be heard in the muslim community, a bit similar situation in jewish community.

@Seth J i heard from a learned Jew that it takes atleast 6 months under the supervision of a rabbi to become a practising jew and this is something justifiable to believe. But this notion of religion by birth is not at all logical! Where it is in the Torah that a person having a jewish mother happens to be a jew?

All the 7 Laws of Noah are completely observant for person to be a practising Muslim in Islam. Thngs like Idolatory, Theft, Murder, Sexual Immorality, Blasphemy, Eating flesh of an alive animal and Establising courts of law are what Islam has emphasized from day 1! FYI: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noachide_Laws FYI: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_Shari%27a. So according to you if a Muslim whose mother was a Jew is also a Jew..is it? A person who is an atheist si also a jew just because this person has a Jewish mother...is it? How?

Isn't this sexism? You are prefering a woman over a man for carrying religious identity. Why? Where it is written in the Torah that a person whose mother is a jew happens to be a jew? Please explain

comment Why was the “Ark of the Covenant” lost?
@HodofHod "According to some traditional interpretations of the Book of Exodus,[2] Book of Numbers,[3] and the Letter to the Hebrews[4] the Ark also contained Aaron's rod, a jar of manna and the first Torah scroll as written by Moses" is stated in Wikipedia. How can you say that "The Ark did not contain any of Moshe's or Aharon's personal objects"? FYI: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ark_of_the_Covenant

@Seth J Thanks for updating me. So Talmud being a text central to Jewish mainstream, should be able to pinpoint the exact location and the Ark should have been found by now! Why it is still hidden?

@Monica Cellio What makes the God controversial between a Jew and a Muslim? As far as i know both worship the same omnipotent, one single God. FYI: judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/14461/…

comment Is there any difference between Jewish G-d and Muslim G-d?
@YDK What about the notion of being a Jew and not believing in God at the same time, only because you are born to a Jewish mother or Jewish parents! So an atheist can also be a jew only because that person is born to jewish paresnt(s)! How?This is notion is something entirely based on racism. Do correct me if this is wrong. On the other hand Islam makes mandatory for every Muslim to believe in one God and to respect all the prohpets form Adam to Muhammad (May peace and blessings be upon all of them).

The first man who is claimed to be a Jew by the Jews was not practicing Judaism in its entireity! How and what? What about Moses (may peace and blessings be upon him)? And what made him a devout Jew? Also why the term "Yehudi" is not mentioned in the Hebrew Bible?

You can never say "he may have indeed faced Jerusalem", because if he had done that then the Hebrew Bible must have mentioned about it.

Isn't that true that Jews are suppose to pray 3 times a day facing Jerusalem? If you claim Abraham to be the first Jew on the planet then why don't we see him praying the ways Jews do nowadays? After all, he was the first Jew as you claim!

The matter of the fact is that he was a devout monotheist who worshipped one God, believed in sacrifice and lived all his life away from paganism. The Hebrew Bible has all of that facts. But he never prayed facing to Jerusalem, never celebrated Yom Kippur, or other Jewish practices!

So are you telling that Avraham (Abraham) used to practice all the Jewish traditions the modern Jews nowadays do? This isn't a fact.
